Tiger Walk: Auburn At Clemson, 2017

Tiger Walk

What time is Tiger Walk for Auburn’s game against the Clemson Tigers at Clemson, South Carolina on September 9, 2017? And, what color are Auburn fans wearing to the game?

According to AuburnTigers.com, kickoff for Auburn vs. Clemson will be at 6:00 pm CT, and Tiger Walk will be at 3:30 pm CT.

Tiger Walk will take place outside Gate 10 at Memorial Stadium. Gate 10 is located outside the West end zone, on Centennial Blvd.

Auburn Athletics encourages Auburn fans to wear BLUE for the Clemson game.

Now, as for the game itself . . .

I asked our preacher Wednesday night if Jarrett Stidham is going to be the real thing. He said Yes.

Alright, then.

Saturday is a big game. Is it everything? Well . . .

Auburn doesn’t have to beat Clemson to win the SEC, or even the playoff—unless, of course, they do. That is, we may need this win over Dabo to set the course; to tap into the psychological sense of destiny without which Auburn hasn’t won 10+ games since 2006.

Does everything Saturday night rests on the quarterback’s shoulders?

No. Stidham’s job at Clemson won’t be to throw four touchdowns; but rather to throw zero interceptions. If he’s ready for the moment—if he leads from the front, the team will follow him to victory.

And yet, they must follow him across bridges built by the defense. If our D can play with the discipline they showed in week 1, we’ll have a chance to win.

They likely won’t rack up a hundred threes-and-out, but they’ll keep the Palmetto Tigers from leaving us at the start.

Speaking of the start, week 2 will be the start of Kamryn Pettway’s season. Here’s hoping we see him run strong, delivering the blows.

Here’s to big games, and hopefully seeing Toomer’s rolled thoroughly Saturday night. War Eagle!

Details coming soon for the week 2 Tweet Contest.
