Video: Duke Williams Scores Touchdown In CFL Debut

Duke William’s scored the first touchdown of his CFL career Saturday night. Duke’s score put the Eskimos up 13–5 over the BC Lions.

At nearly 11:00 pm CT, the game is at the half; so Duke could certainly have his second CFL TD (maybe more) when we get up Sunday morning.

Reckon Coach Dye is staying up? Probably not.

  1. Ever since Gus Malzahn has been Auburn’s HC,the 1st down play is the handoff up the middle..especially when he’s running the offense to the line of scrimmage in the hurry up…The 2nd down play is a lateral run or pass that usually loses a couple of yards..3rd down in usually a hook route..I’m a diehard Auburn fan and watch the game with my Auburn friends and we can call the plays before the ball is snapped. He needs to let our new OC do his job and stay out of his way. #WDE

    1. Agreed. Have thought this over the course of 2014-2016 seasons. Opposing players were telling the media they knew every play before it was called. In 2013, CGM was still an anomaly to SEC DCs and you had good play-action from Nick Marshall fooling everyone including the TV cameras. Tre Mason was turning 2 yards into 6 even when you knew he was coming. New OC with autonomy is a necessary change and long overdue. Hopefully, 2017 is the year for AU play calling to shake off the dead wood and be less predictable!
