Auburn’s Super Bowl Champ Jonathan Jones Visits White House

Former Auburn defensive back Jonathan Jones visited the White House Wednesday, along with several of his Super Bowl Champion New England Patriots teammates.

Some people have noticed that, at least in this photo, Jones doesn’t look thrilled to be there.

Whether this millisecond capture of his facial expression tells us anything about his politics, I have no idea.

I do know that being the President’s guest at the White House is one of the spoils of winning the Super Bowl. So I’m glad this Auburn man is there, especially considering the amateur coaching he overcame to make it to the NFL.

Update: I was focused on Jones, and forgot about Brandon King—also an Auburn Tiger; also a member of the Patriots’ secondary.
