Auburn Homecoming 2016: Where’s Aubie?

Auburn’s 2016 Homecoming was a great day. We crowned the new Miss Homecoming. We recognized the anti-arsonist. We won the game in convincing fashion, and finally saw John Franklin’s first touchdowns.

We’ll highlight those things further below. But, first . . .

We spent much of the day chasing Aubie. If you’ve done Family Game Day, you know what I’m talking about. Tigers can be elusive, and hunting them sometimes yields better results than others.

Here’s a pic from about the closest we got to him all day. But, can you spot the nine-time national champion in this scene?

Too easy? In case it’s not, let’s buffer the puzzle and the solution with an 80-yard touchdown run.

Ok—see the four flag line flags? Aubie is below the leftmost flag. He’s actually wearing an Auburn University Marching Band uniform. War Eagle, Aubie!

And now, here is Auburn’s Miss Homecoming 2016, Kate Hardman.

Congratulations, Kate!

Also, Auburn Miss “Not Today” 2016, Herron Taylor.

Another blow to the Oaks hurts bad. But, wow—how awesome that a hero arose from that dark moment. War Eagle, Herron!

If you’ve got any Where’s Aubie photos, and would like to see them featured here at Heart of Auburn, just let us know.

War Eagle!
